The Challenge

Our adventure with Żabka began when we started maintenance for the older version of their website. After a few months, we decided to migrate from Symphony to WordPress. Of course, it was not only about migrating to a more friendly CMS. We need to organize the information architecture and increase the website performance. Also, we take care of safety links to boost SEO possibilities. WordPress gives us more opportunities for constant website development.

The Process

Research

Our initial step involved thorough research and analysis. We delved into the trends, examining quantitative and qualitative data from the existing service, utilizing tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar. This groundwork was crucial in understanding the current landscape and user interactions.

Design

Following the research, our focus shifted to design. We began by drafting wireframes for mobile and desktop versions of the site, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices. The next stage was the development of the actual design, where our creative team brought the visual aspect of the website to life. Parallel to this, we prepared all the necessary assets for our development team.

Content development

Content is king, and our approach reflected this adage. We gathered and strategically placed existing content within the new site’s structure. This phase also included content migration, implementation, and robust SEO practices to maintain the site’s rankings.

Development

The development phase was multifaceted. Our team worked diligently, turning the approved designs into a digital reality. A significant milestone was preparing the CMS, specifically WordPress, with a modular library for autonomously building landing pages and new subpages. We design ed backend architecture for scalability, including potential future expansions like NFT platforms. We set up and maintained the server on GCP, ensuring robust performance and reliability. Additionally, we integrated the website with Synerise, Snowflake, and Salesforce.

Documentation and Training

An integral part of our process was documentation. We compiled detailed guides and conducted training sessions on the CMS, empowering Żabka to manage their constantly changing content effectively.

Project Management

Our project management team kept a steady hand on the wheel throughout the project, providing regular status updates. We conducted extensive testing of the website to ensure everything functioned flawlessly.

Redesign

We introduced a new, refreshed design that featured new leading colors, encompassing a full range of colors for boxes, banners, forms, and text. Additionally, we incorporated Labels, Price Badges, and unique colors specifically for marking Beers, Baked Products, and Coffees.

New Navigation Menu

During this project, revamping the navigation menu was a significant modification. In the previous site version, users interacted mostly with three pages.

The updated menu navigation version leads users to discover previously overlooked subpages, broadening their engagement at the new website. This adaptation provides higher user commitment.

Site Performance

Our work on the client’s site brought remarkable improvements in performance, enhanced accessibility, and SEO-friendly solutions, all verified by Google PageSpeed Insights. We achieved this through proven methodologies and focused efforts, ensuring a seamless and efficient online presence for Żabka.

Dedicated design for Valentine’s Day

Celebrating Valentine’s Day, we’ve infused the site with captivating, animated elements, like floating hearts. These thoughtful touches enhance the site’s visual appeal and connect emotionally with visitors, creating memorable interactions that elevate the overall digital environment.
